Nissan’s entry in the electric car segment car segment is the Leaf. Vickar Nissan sales consultant Bill Kueneman reports that the 2018 model has a 40% greater range than its predecessor.

“The 2018 Leaf has a new look and a lot of new technology,” he says.

He particularly points out Nissan’s new ProPilot Assist that helps the driver stay in the center of the driving lane and maintain vehicle speed or help maintain a gap between your car and the car in front of you if the other vehicle speed drops below your driver-set speed. ProPilot Assist also can slow the vehicle to a complete stop and holds the vehicle during traffic jam conditions.

“We have delivered three this year that were pre-ordered,” he says. “We have new models on the way.”
